Ok, so what does everyone want to see at the lolita panels next year? I was thinking a small no-sew craft panel would be fun, for like sweets jewelry or something. I was also thinking the history/evolution of lolita, lifestyle lolitas, and tips with Q&A for the aspiring lolita.

I am also looking for panel members. Cheesy

I'll be a panel member with you since I'm pretty new to Lolita and I can answer questions for those who are new too, maybe. Tell them how it evolved from Ganguro to Lolita.

I don't know alot about lolita fashion but I admit last year I went to it and lasted about 15 mins before I got bored Sad No offense. Really I don't mean any offense but everything I had heard in there was stuff I already knew. I'm still going to go back this year though...specially if your going to give no sew tips *yeah i havent sewed since middle school* lol...I don't think I could pull the look off but i think maybe give me some time I could mix the lolita/guy lolita *sorry forgot the proper word* look together to help people who aren't interested in the skirts but are in the fashion...Hmmmm I think it could be alot of fun. Anyway...

Don't know what I could offer but i'll help if I can.

That's not true though. The only ties that ganguro and lolita have are the more recent styles that have emerged of Hime Gal and Gal Lolita. Lolita started as it's own thing back in the late 70's.

I am sorry to hear that, which panel was it? There were several, some that weren't even run by me. So if you could give some sort of feedback on what we could talk about to keep interest that would be great.

Lolita did not evolve from Ganguro.  It evolved from Goth, Neo-Victorian and "Pink House" style.

Ganguro evolved from Gal which is more main stream "popular girl" fashion.

I've been in Lolita for awhile, so if I'm able to go, I could be a panel member if you want.

I've been dressing Lolita for a while and could help out with it if I were to attend. I may not be the best for History [although I do know the basic details] but I am a pro when it comes to explaining the different styles and the various stores and places you can acquire Lolita from, overseas or here in the states.

I've run a panel at Animazement foooor...4 years now maybe? Mostly I do a sort of beginning lolita thing, go through the styles, talk about brands and off-brand stuff, that sort of thing. This year though I had some of the local girls help me out and model the fashions, I think it really helped to be able to see stuff up close and meet some local lolitas. I've been thinking of broadening my scale though, and talking about the lifestyle sounds like it would be a lot of fun!
