Kakkoi*Con 09 ~ Japan Panel!

This is just a thought I'm throwing out there to see who keeps it going.
I don't remember all the panels that went on at '08 but i think perhaps at '09 a panel on Japan would be awesome. Not fashion really (though there's nothing wrong with fashion) but food, language, accents, dialogue, people, history, and perhaps sites where people could order traditional clothes. And if the clothes couldn't be ordered then the designes could be printed off.
So it's just a thought. Let me know what you think. if it works out we could let the head honchos know.

I think it sounds like an excellent idea! Kakkoi|con is meant to be a broader-than-anime convention, drawing inspiration from all aspects of Japanese culture, so a panel like this would be appropriate.

thats what I thought. I'd even run it since I have plenty of time to do research and such but it doesnt seem like anyone is interested.
