Hello everyone this is Cody, and if you were in the Gaming Room at all you probably either talked to me or saw me running around the room after some cord or odd thing of that such, but as I had informed most people whom I spoke to I basically set up the gaming room with much from others whom of which were normally found in or around the gaming room. I have been promoted to Head of the game room (I also am the new coordinator of Sogen Cons Game room so there will be much changing.) At any rate besides the errors in my grammar what is up? I am looking for feedback on the gaming room, I'm open for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and want to hear what everyone has to say? I look forward to what you have to say and will try to answer questions and adjust what needs to be adjusted to make the game room even more spectacular. GO!

I mentioned this in another thread but hard pads for ddr would be nice. Other than that, great job.

I would love to see some Mairo kart next year, I love that game. Just a suggestion from myself, I have nothing but good memories of the gaming room.

The game room was awesome.  I like how there was plenty of space to move around and lots of different games and such.  The only things I could think of to improve would be if there's another Halo tournament have it at least be 2v2, since dueling is more suited towards games like Quake 3 and such (or maybe I'm just biased Cheesy ).  That and it would be really, really cool if you somehow got a hold of a Pump/DDR cabinet for the weekend, or at least metal pads, the latter of which could be brought by people attending.  I'd be willing to bring mine if it was a PS2 version of DDR or just run ITG PC/Stepmania with a ps2 -> usb adapter.  Those things aside the game room was pure win and was where I spent most of my time Smiley .

Wonderful job on the gaming room!  There were so many awesome games and I loved that brawl was on a projector!

Cody!  This is Tim, I'm the Naruto 4 noob that still needs to work on his game a bit.  I'll have to practice a bit more at sogen con, which I am very much looking forward to.

As for the room, its really unfortunate that power limitations prevents somethings from being set up.  Other than that, the only problem I had was the large number of Beat/Rhythm games.  I think there were two DDR type games, 3 rock/band guitar hero games, and then little beat mania working its charm in the corner.  Its probably just conflict with personal preference, though.  I know those games are a bit more popular so its probably good for the room.  I was really glad that you put up Capcom Classics on one of the XBoxes to compensate for the lack of many older systems.

Suggestions:
*N64 - Mario Kart, Starfox 64, 007 Golden eye, mario parties, gauntlet legends, etc.  (good 4 player system)
*A Wii with a lot of hand picked virtual console games.  (It'd be like having an emulator, only legal)

Everything was really great though!  I was not let down one bit by the gaming room, and I'm really glad it ended up in your hands by some odd circumstance because I don't think anyone could have pulled it off like you did.  Good job, man.

I thought the game room was excellent overall.  Other Cons could learn a thing or ten from you!

I was the one who brought Rock Band for the PS3 and I was happy with the things in the room and I got my Drum pedal broke on Friday due to someone played Expert drums and I wasn't mad at that. I am getting it replaced soon. P.S. to all who gave sweet feedback on the room. I give cookies to ya.

Wow Evorevolist you rock.  It would be hard coping with the fact that someone broke something you were kind enough to let them use hahaha.  But I spose it was an accident.

Ah... Mario cart... it was suppose to be up... but sadly we didn't have enough power to run the system it required... I apologize and assure that we will try for next year I thank you for your input.

Your suggestions have been dutifully noted and although I was in charge of the game room and not the tourney settings, i will see what i can do, as for the pads... I have mentioned we're working on it although I have no objections to having you bring your pads but we will need to check them in when they arrive but may not be needed as I am already working on it just as a fair warning.

As for CAnderson14, Tim, WeirdMinnesota And Evorevolist I thank you for your positive feedback, Evorevolist I quite enjoyed your company and help through most of the con. I am glad to hear that your pedal is being replaced as was agreed and sure hope you come next year you gave a huge contribution to the epic-ness that was our gaming room, Tim I also enjoyed speaking with you about the game room, hope you had fun with naruto =p and had a darned good time with you all around, Thank you. As for WeirdMinnesota and CAnderson14 it is always nice to see that our laborious actions (it was tougher than it seems) to make the game room uber.
