It must be ancient if you can't run WoW.  You could install WoW on your toaster, if you just had a small enough hard drive to fit in it.  Smiley

really..~
i always assumed you needed a good video card for WoW even though mine is pretty old it still might be worth checking out eh? and if all else fails i have a pretty badass toaster

WoW scales really nicely.  You can run it just fine at the low end with fewer details, or you can make it gorgeous with a higher end machine.  I find that the more important component to have is memory.  I tried running it on an iMac with 512mb of RAM and it would choke a little bit in big cities, but was fine anywhere else.  I think a 1gb or higher should be just fine.

You can always go to worldofwarcraft.com and download the free trial to test how your system handles it.  (Beware, it's a LLLOOOONNNGGG download.)

WOrld of Warcraft here.
Level 80 Warrior, Prot/Fury
Level 80 Hunter, BM/Survival
Level 74 DK, Blood

all on Aggramar server *grins*

No I don't have a life.

I also used to play EQ1 for 6 years prior to that and had a level 70 cleric and level 70 bard on the Tribunal server

Well, I occasionally play wow (mostly mages and paladins), but generally I prefer EVE Online.

I fly an industrial command ship for the moment but eventually I'm going to aim for carriers in an alliance.

I've been addicted to EverQuest and EverQuest 2 for the past 10 years.

Lately though, I've discovered Dungeon Fighter Online. It's like Streets of Rage or Final Fight, only it's Online with hundreds of other players.

(and sadly, the constant spam bots for gold-farmers and power leveling services.)

none at the moment for me, but i'm looking forward to the star trek and star wars ones. They both look pretty sweet from what i have seen of them online.
